Glassfibre ponds are easy to install, have proven long life expectancy and do not suffer from unsightly creases (unlike liner ponds). They are not affected by extremes of high/low temperatures or U.V. light. Pre-formed ponds reduce the work of planning and overall pond design to a minimum. Every pool is factory pressure tested.
Good filtration is essential for a healthy pond and a safe environment for your fish. Filtration simply means the removal of solids and the prevention of their return to the pond. This is achieved by passing the pond water over layers of filter foams and brushes inside the filter. Biological purification is accomplished by colonising the filter medium with 'friendly bacteria' and micro organisms which, when mature, digest pollutants, thus neutralizing harmful ammonia and nitrites.
